Bantams To Brood Quail

Has anyone ever tried to brood quail eggs with a bantam hen? If so, what was your success with this?

We are lucky enough not to have Coryza in New Zealand so I have hatched quail eggs under my OEGBs. One hatched two and I left them with her. In the first week it's very difficult because the chicks aren't as active as chicken chicks so my hen wanted to scratch about and find them food when they wanted to cuddle, putting them at risk of being squashed and kicked. They were inside so we just grabbed the chicks every time she got up (which was a lot). By 3 weeks old they no longer needed her which was a bit sad. My other girls I've just let them hatch the chicks and brooded them myself. A lot less work!
