Bantams using nesting boxes

My five bantams are using the nesting boxes at night rather than the roosting poles. My leghorn (I have six girls) use the top roosting pole. Why don't the bantams roost on the other poles that are available? They are small so they all five fit in one box. Is this normal behavior?

How old are they? My three bantams all cuddled together in the nest box until they were about 11 weeks old, then they started using the roost at night. They still cuddle together when they are napping during the day.

Thanks, they are about 8 weeks old now so I guess this is normal and I don't need to worry
