Bantams -- which are the better layers, OEG or Dutch?

I'm thinking of a project involving bantams, and was wondering whether Dutch or OEG bantams are the better layers?

Henderson's breed chart lists Dutch as better layers, but with the tiniest egg. Neither is listed as a good layer.

I have an OEGB bantam and her egg is about 1/3 a large egg. My other bantams are about 1/2 a large egg. I guess it depends if you want eggs for breeding or eating.

Thanks, that's helpful. I have a project in mind -- will post about it later (much later, LOL!) if it works as intended.

not to contradict flakey but my oegb's are pretty good layers [egg a day while in season] and i find that their eggs are about 1/2 the size of a store bought egg. plus dutch have issues with frost bite more so than oeg's. that being said neither are going to produce nearly as much as a "real" chicken.
