I love bantams! I made my backpack into a carry case for my D’Anver, but she preferred my hoodie pocket, the looks I got... My sister and brother didn’t find them as intimidating as the bigger hens and cockerels which was a plus :) good luck with yours. Bantam cockerels pack a punch with their crow

I have 27 standard birds and three bantams. I got a mixed bunch of barnyard eggs and the three hatched alongside the rest. I didn’t do anything differently for them, they grew up alongside their standard peers, except for the one silkie who didn’t tolerate the cold so well at first. She got some extra time inside. Ultimately I separated the bantams into their own coop. One of the chicks began slipping through the fence regularly, the silkie wasn’t well integrated with the larger birds and I decided I’d acquire more bantams in the future. They’re really adorable and mine are easy to handle compared to the flightiness of my standard birds.

I just got 4 of these from the bantam bin at TSC, any ideas on what they might be? No feathers on the legs and only 4 toes.
