Bantams!

What do y’all love about Bantams? I love ours because they are so small but have such a big personality! We had a Bantam rooster in ours first chicken flock and he would chase my big rooster (we don’t know what breed the big one was) but he was big and after our bantam rooster died he stepped up and protected the hens! So after we lost all our bantam hens and rooster we so wanted some more and..this year we got a lot they maybe mixes but we love them so much! Mine is a cockerel (I think) and I call him Nugget!! Because he is the size of one! Lol! Please share if y’all want to!!

That's one thing that I love about bantams. They show what gender they are pretty early with those combs.

They are all so cute!
I have bantams for the first time this year. They are cochin bantams, and are a month old now. They are called Mango and Papaya. They are super friendly, especially Papaya. She (or he) loves to be held and cuddled. Papaya also turned out to be a frizzle, which I was not aware of when I bought her. She's super cute though. (I think she may actually be a he, but I'm hoping not.)
