Hey! New to chickens, but I’ve had ducks for a year. Where is the best place to find sexed bantam chicks? I live in a neighborhood where roosters aren’t allowed.

Cackle & Meyer both have some varieties of Bantams that are sexed. They are expensive, but for no roosters I think it’s worth it.

I think unless you buy locally from someone that has sexlinks, MPC is the only one that actually sells bantams that aren't straight run

Meyer just started offering them in 2023. Cackle has Bantam Brahma, Cochin (limited color patterns), Dominique, Barred Rock, RIR, OEGB (limited color patterns). I only know this because we were looking to possibly add a handful of female bantams this year, but decided to stick w standard sizes in the end, at least for now…might work on convincing DH to get bantams when our current ladies slow down in wggs.

Oooh thank you for the clarification! I was struggling to find the sexed bantams on Cackle’s site.
