Banties and Standards together?

I have silkies and standards, and had introduced Japanese bantams. In my small backyard, the silkies and standards do well together; but I had to get rid of the Japanese bantams. They were picked on by the other chickens, and would not go in the coop at night.

I have a BO roo, and 7 standard hens, a silkie roo and a silkie hen. The silkies have 3 adopted silkie chicks. When I reintroduced the silkies to the backyard, Butterscotch, the roo, got is comb picked badly. I think he was defending the chickies from the bullying SLW. After just a few days, everything is back to normal, except Butterscotch is crowing less frequently. Since this is a good thing, I'm happy.

I think that it can be done but the birds might self sort. My silkies tend to hang by themselves, and the Japanese never integrated into the flock. I think limiting the roos will also help, if there is just one, he gets all the girls.
