My family is new to the whole raising chickens world, and we've only been raising our little girls for 5 weeks now. I've posted on here earlier regarding the sex of our chicks and so far everyone has said they're pullets. Later this week we're getting some Bantam chickens from a local farmer friend and we're looking for 1-2 roosters to add to our flock. My main question is in the future will a Bantam rooster be able to fertilize EE and Golden Comet eggs? We're not looking to have pure breed chickens and are fine with mixed, but I wasn't sure if Bantams are able to mix with other breeds, or if it doesn't work like that. Any input is greatly welcome, thanks!
