This seems like a dumb question - and I didn't know which forum to post it in either. But I am considering getting three standard chickens and two bantams for my backyard. The bantams - just because they are so small and cute - the standards because they make regular sized eggs. I was going to eat the bantams eggs too - but someone told me that bantam eggs are inedible? It that true?

Banty eggs are the only eggs that I eat. Because they are so small, they are perfect for me. I live alone, so I don't need many eggs. I only eat the banty eggs because i save the larger eggs to sell to all of my customers. When I collect my eggs every day, I place the banty eggs in their own egg carton for my own eating. You just have to use a couple more to add up to a large egg. In the morning for breakfast, I eat about 4 banty eggs and that is enough to fill up little ole me. Banty eggs are just as delicious as regular sized eggs. So go ahead and eat you a few. You'll love'em!

I love my banty eggs. I can brag that I can eat 6 egg for breakfast
