I just picked up the three chickens on Sun. We hope to get the coop done tonight or tomorrow. They've been in a really big dog crate for the past few days. I take the bottom out and move it around the yard during the day and bring them in at night. My hens haven't laid since I got them. I know they're probably shook up and have no real place to lay. Can they get backed up or sick if they don't lay?? or will they just resume business as usual when we put them in a real home? Thanks so much.
