Bard Rocks not laying. Not even going into nesting boxes?

I read through the bard rock discussion from 2013 about how they start laying later than other hens but mine aren't even going into the nesting boxes? We got them in March 2021.

We got barred rock and speckled sussex end of May 2020. First egg was October 1. Can't say which it was but they were all laying soon after. Yours should be soon. Are their combs getting red?

When in March? They should start soon, most breeds start at 20 weeks, but like people, puberty happens at different ages.

Hmm, I'm surprised they aren't laying yet, have you checked for nests outside? How do you know they aren't laying? They could be very sneaky.

We have 20 chickens, BR & RIR hatched 2/21. Half lay in boxes, and recently we found the honey hole! The others have been laying in a small shed!
