Bare back, feathers picked off, end of feather left behind

Hi, I have these two hens that were getting bullied, about a month ago, and lost the feathers on the small of their back. the feathers were pecked, but the tip of them left behind. I am wondering if i should pluck the last little bit of the feather so that new one's will grow back, or leave them alone. they are 1 year old and started laying recently. i expect it will be awhile till they molt.

I wouldn't pluck them, I would just leave them. Plucking hurts them and can cause them to bleed..
