bare bottom

I would like to know why one of my Chantecler hens has a bare bottom, about 2" around? Any ideas?

I have had this happen a few times. For me is usually starts with the rooster mounting and gets worse when the other hens start plucking feathers.

The feathers seem to be trying to grow back

They should come back when she moults.
