I thought the girls were molting, they are about 15 months old, my RIR started losing bottom feathers in early spring (Feb/march) the other two have followed suit. now I have 3 hens with bare bottoms. no sign of mites, or other bugs, they have been laying until yesterday. Have only been getting 1 or 2 a day instead of 4 eggs (had 4 hens, one died tonight). Guess it would help to post pictures of naked hen butts, will do so tomorrow. any thoughts would be helpful
