Bare breasts CxR....

am I doing something wrong? or is this normal? Even the pullets that are almost fully feathered have bare breasts still. Am I not changing the litter enough? am I feeding them too much? or am I just over analyzing?

They're supposed to have a bare strip down the middle. As long as there aren't like oozing sores or scabs or anything like that, it is no kind of problem

Yeah, that is exactly it just no feathers down the center - why did none of the books tell me about this?? Its kinda disturbing. i can see why they're supposed to be prone to breast blisters now.

Yes, they are a strange looking bird. They will also lay in their poo and get it crusted in their feathers. Yet they taste really good.
