I have seen some other threads for similar issues and pictures. One that I came across, suggested that it may be irritation from their urine/feces. The hen who has this issue has had chronic diarrhea. You can kind of see that on the feathers around the red spot. I did cut the feathers to stop the feces from hanging on her feathers. The article that was from July 2022 suggested nu stock to help heal the area and deter pecking from the other hens. This one does get picked on often.

Nu-Stock will treat and heal the area and prevent picking. Once the pickers get a mouthful of Nu-Stock, that'll be the end of the picking.
Dont trim feathers and fluff back too much, they protect the skin from urates scalding the skin.

As for the chronic diarrhea, dont feed her anything except layer feed, no more treats or goodies. I recommend that you give her plain boiled white rice mixed with buttermilk in her layer feed for 2 or 3 days.
The rice will settle her innards and the buttermilk will coat and protect the intestines, and is a better probiotic than yogurt. Yogurt tends to run out the rear end.
If she continues with the diarrhea, worm her with Safeguard or Valbazen and repeat with the plain boiled white rice and buttermilk for a few days after worming.
