Bare Patch

Hi all, as you can see, I have one hen with complete feather loss under her neck. Is this common or a problem perhaps?

Hi all, I'm JFS's wife. We have more to the story. Our hen in the picture was seen being picked at by her best friend in the flock- as in she was picking her feathers off the bare spot. Why would she do this and how do we get it to stop?
