Bare skin

I have two bantys that were beat up by another. They are missing feathers right before their tail feathers. It doesn't seem to bother them, and I figured the feathers would grow back?
Well so far nothing, its been a few months. So is it permanent? anything that would help them? They appear healthy and lay eggs. The bare skin just doesn't look appealing.

The feathers will regenerate during the next molt so long as the picking stops. You can encourage feather growth by supplementing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, to the feed or water. Here's a link demonstrating which supplements would be beneficial:
