Bare underside?

One of our BR's has a completely bare area well under the vent, where she would nest. Is this normal? There is a large pink area with not one feather... Girls are doing well in the winter. I have a heater in the coop for them and it gets to high 30's but does not freeze.

Could she be broody? My hens loose a lot of feathers on the underside when they go broody.

None of our 6 are broody. All girls lay and get off the nest. I can always reach in and check for eggs anytime. I have 4 nests and without fail I get 5 eggs in the top left nest, even though all 4 are exactly the same! Rarely I will get 1 egg in bottom right...
