I have a couple of hens who have been" loved " a little too much by one of my roosters. Their necks have been pecked raw and one of them has a bare back. I ordered some hen aprons for them, but in the meantime , is there any kind of salve I can put on them? Or will the salve just attract flies? They are really good layers.(just not too pretty!)
