My shipment of Bourbon Red turkeys arrived today...nine dead, one barely holding on. The box was soaking wet, it's no wonder they died. The remaining baby is out in the sun (95ish out right now) to warm up and dry off, and I mixed up a warm water/electrolyte/corn syrup mixture, gave him approx. 1-2 mL. How much should I give him and at what intervals?
Thanks!
Edited to add: I hope I didn't just get myself into trouble, I posted a "miracle baby" thread under Raising baby chicks...but didn't ask about how much water mixture to give him since I thought I would more of a response to that question on here. Sorry if that still qualifies as double posting.
