OH.
Ok so I'm selling eggs and am wondering if there is any good bargains to put on your egg cartons. Like buy 3 dozen get one free or something like that, if anyone has any plz share! Thanks :)

No I just have a lot and want to get rid of them faster, but don't want to lower the price.

Personally, I don't like gimmicks when it comes to selling high quality eggs.
Straight up and honest pricing, (to me) is the best way to get, and keep, good customers.
I am selling about 12 dozen per week now (will be much more when my pullets' eggs get bigger) and have a great customer base.
Best wishes to you!

I also don't do any bargains/deals/etc.

I have given away the first dozen or half dozen to a new customer. I say I'm like your friendly neighborhood crack dealer--I'll give you your first hit for free to get you hooked, then reel you in

Other than that, I just advertise more if I need more customers.

I sell a lot of point of lay pullets, so I do on occasion give away eggs with if the buyer is purchasing several birds, especially if they aren't quite laying yet.

ha ha ha ! you are hilarious donrae!
I have done the same for potential buyers whom are not sure about buying "farm fresh eggs". (like farm fresh is a foreign concept??)
I have 1/2 dozen cartons just for that reason. Good for business, no doubt!

Thanks!

I've found free eggs are a great ice breaker. And if someone's waffling on if they want them or not, it's no great loss for me to comp them a few.

I forgot, I've also given bantam eggs to folks with little kiddos. We usually eat the bantam eggs, cause I don't want to mess with pricing, etc when they're so tiny. But when I run into someone who has toddlers, they often get a dozen eggs "just your size".
