Barley mystery

Recently bought a bunch of barley from a local farmer. Does anyone know what these seed looking things could be? They are mixed with the whole lot.

Weed seeds. Poor quality barley. You might want to screen the barley with an appropriate sized screen. Most likely, the seeds will not be a problem for your birds. But, not knowing what they are, I could not pass such a judgement.

Because it is locally sourced, a few farmers told me today that it's pigweed seeds. It would be great to know the nutritional value/protein for these!

I thought I also seen a few flax seeds?...It won't hurt the Birds...They will either eat them or pick out what they like...I would use it....
