barn cat help needed

I have quite a few barn cats myself here. They act the same over food. I feed them cat food everyday. They aren't starving either. I would swear none of them hunt except for my killing machine but I've heard from others that see them with mice/birds/rabbits that they do. I just apparently don't see it. They also take care of and road kill guineas/chickens I have. Mine dont attack me for food but they sure know when its coming! lol

First, I would do a massive spay and neuter run. Check with some local shelters and rescues if they have any Spay/Neuter programs, here they have one where you can get a spay/neuter for as low at $20. If you put away $5 a week, you can spay or neuter one cat per month, at least in my area.
Watch Craigslist and/or post an add that your looking for cheap to free spay and neuter. There are a lot of places with really low cost spay and neuter clinics, or where you can get coupons.

Second, check out big warehouse stores like Sams Club or Cosco. Look around for bulk or wholesale retailers. You can often times find pet food for low prices this way. In my experience, dogs and cats don't need top-of-the-line Purina or Science Diet. I feed my dogs Ol' Roy (roughly $20 for a 45-50 pound bag) and play and exercise them daily. One's overweight (he's a house dog, really) and my hunting female is amazingly fit and in peak-condition. Ol' Roy is considered a shoddy food, but my dogs eat it and stay healthy on it.
My girl recently came into heat and pretty much quit eating...a week and a good 5 pounds later she's ravenous and active again. Guess who ran out of dog food this morning and can't get anymore until tonight -facepalm-

Third, try to rehome a couple kitties, either through Craigslist or local rescues. White, Spotted, and Calico's rehome the best. Black, Gray, and Orange can be semi-difficult. Tabby's are pretty much impossible. This is speaking from experience and what I generally see in terms of what colors of cats people look for.

I have a barn cat (minus the barn) who is friendly and tame, but at the same time hunts for a good 80% of his diet and stays rather fat. He gets food a few times a week but otherwise...he has five wooded acres, he can hunt.
At first he ran for the house, clawed my lap to shreds jumping up all the time, and was generally a pest. A few tossings out of the house and setting downs later, he's still friendly but respects your space. He'll lay in your lap and purr if you want him to, but otherwise stays on the floor. Remember, cats can be trained too

As for destructive tendencies, invest in either a spray bottle or a small bucket. Fill said bottle/bucket with water and leave your windows open, screens closed. If kitties try to use them as a scratching post, give them a lil' bath. Up on the counters? Spray/douse and toss. Don't pitch your cats out the door, but after a few chances take them by the scruff (support the butt, please) and dump them over the side of the porch (granted, into something soft like grass) or give them a small flight into the lawn.

Please don't kick, hit, or generally abuse your animals. You want to establish that you are the Alpha Kittie, something to be respected, but not feared. Support the back end of the cat if you have them by the scruff.
