Barn Swallows

Help! Barn swallows found way into hen house. Now that the
entry is closed, do I need to completely change and clean the
hen house? Please advise as I know outside birds do carry
disease.

I'd clean up around the nest (assuming they built one) and then spray the coop with a 10% Clorox solution.

If your birds free range, you can't avoid some "contact" with wild birds

Spray some poultry protector or the like on the walls and ceiling and let it air out.
