Barnevelder 10 weeks cockerel or pullet?

Ordered girls but this upright stance has me worried. Any Barnevelder owners have ideas? My first Barnevelder.

Females can have a more upright posture too, it's not gender specific.

I'm definitely no expert but my guess would be cockeral. Just looking at the wing feathering patterns and it's hard to see but has it got saddle feathers? This was one of my blue double laced pullets before she started laying.

Hmmm she’s really beautiful. How old was she in the picture? Mine is 12 weeks here’s a recent photo I don’t know about the feathering pattern on barnevelders at this age.

The saddle feathers on yours look roundish like my girl. Look very similar the 2 photos so you might have a pullet. I'm not sure how old mine was in the photo, my wife picked them up and forgot to ask the breeder

From which breeder did she get her from? I’m starting over from scratch and want only Barnevelders with all the feather colors/patterns. (Pullets/hens only per city codes.) I won’t be showing, just want healthy pretty birds.

It's 10 weeks old, so a little early for male specific feathering for most birds. Going by the comb I believe it's a pullet, but you should know one way or the other within a few weeks.

I'm in Australia so won't be able to help you out sorry plus I bought the last three she had She wanted to only breed Wyandottes so sold me the last of them.
