These are supposed to be 4-5 wk old pullets. I've never had a rooster and am no good at gender ID. I suspect one of these is a roo based on development vs the 2 other Barnevelder chicks. I didn't number the pictures as these 3 chicks look so different from one another. Can anyone help?

I brought them outside in hopes that the comb color would show better. Right after I got them set up safely, a storm started moving in so back to the brooder. Poor things. They were enjoying playing in the leaves and dirt... for 3 minutes. 🙃

I read that only males will get a solid brown band at the end of their wings at about 8 weeks. The older they get, the easier to tell. Also the girls have darker legs as they grow older, and males get more yellow legs.
