barnevelder crossed with Buff Orpington?

I purchased 10 chickens that are around 5 1/2 months (or so I was told) After doing some research I believe they are Barnevelder crossed with Buff Orpington? Also any guesses on age? They haven't laid any eggs yet, but have became so comfortable around us!

I can comfortably say that they're barnyard mutts, but I don't see anything that says barnevelder to them. I think a first generation cross like that would have much more black on it.
