My hen had cancer

A couple weeks ago I asked for advice regarding my 4.5 yr old hen Cookie.
From my description it seemed like she could have had water belly or a reproductive problem. This little gal was up and around, with difficulty, and eating and drinking.
I took her to my avian doctor and we did an ultrasound. It showed she had cancer all over the place.
As hard as it was for me I had her put to sleep.
Thank you to anyone who added their thoughts to what was going on with her.

No. The ultrasound showed it all over. It looked like a string of pearls in one place. Dr. Barton had an intern accompanying him so he was showing her different things about her, inside and out. It was very interesting and she was a great patient.
The doctors and staff are so wonderful. I took my desert tortoise to them 2 years ago.
It's called Animal Medical Center and it is in Corona, CA. in case anyone in So Cal needs help.
They treat all types of critters and dogs and cats.

Glad you were able to get her into an avian vet, get some answers, and put her down peacefully. Fly high, Cookie. You were very loved.
