Can anyone tell me what sex my barnevelder is? 8-9 wks old.

I know nothing about the breed, and this is 100% just a guess (I want to get good at sexing chickens so I lurk on these threads all the time).

The comb and waddles are awfully bright, so since the chick is far too young to be nearing laying age, I guess cockerel.
