Yeh those photos pretty much confirm it she’s defs not a Barnevelder haha!
They do look very similar as day old chicks so must be hard to differentiate

Just wondering if this is a barnevelder or Wyandotte. Was sold to me as a silver laced Barnevelder but I’m having doubts. This is 6 weeks old.

I did a bit of research and from what I can tell, single laced silver Barnevelders are not common in Australia or do not exist at all. Since this bird is definitely single rather than double laced (which is commonly kept) I would have to say that she's a Silver Laced Wyandotte with a single comb

Looks like a single-combed Silver-laced Wyandotte pullet to me...

I have one that's ten or eleven years old and the healthiest hen in the flock, they live very long and are very cold hardy.

I was just meaning by the lacing pattern I read barnie Roos had messy lacing !???or do roos and pullet look similar at this age?
