So I'm considering getting barnevelders, I have one promised me for the spring, can some of you who keep them post photos of you birds and eggs and any comments you have about them? I think they're lovely and I hear good things, its so cold and wet here we really need some cooperative additions that will prove to be good layers. Anyone get particularly dark eggs from them? I've seen some and might shop around. Thanks in advance!
