Barnyard Mix and Barred Rock chicks

I think you are going to have to wait to see what they're going to look like. It's pretty unlikely someone would have a mix exactly like your rooster. The chicks are interesting-- I would not have expected them to be that color from those parents. The rooster probably has some interesting color genetics.
 
My Easter Egger chicks looked similar, but I cannot say exactly because EEs come in different colors. The chick in the middle most resembled them and the second chick without the black down its neck..
 
Thanks. I have only been able to find a couple of pictures with similar looking wing patterned chicks which ended up being partridge barred rocks. I was wondering if maybe one or both of the chickens had recessive partridge genes so thought I’d ask to see if anyone else bred similarly. Kind of a long shot, but thought it’d be worth a try. :). Yeah, I find it strange that they’d produce this pattern. Thank you!!!!
