Barnyard mix, what will I get..

As I join the Easter Hatch-A-Long I am hatching eggs from my mixed flock. I am so excited to see what mixture of chicks and what they will look like. Follow along to see the ending result. Below is the breeds I have.

Here is what I have:
My Roo is a Light Brahma
Hens:
2 Barred Rock
1 RIR
5 Lavender Orpingtons
1 Black Orpington
2 White Hens with a few black feathers (unknown breed, I am assuming a mix)
1 Light Brahma
1 Black hen with Golden feathers around her neck (unknown breed, I am assuming a mix)

I am really excited to see what the Lavender Orpingtons and the Light Brahma makes.. I guess only time will tell..

Black chicks with large pea combs or strange looking combs, some feathers on the feet. Probably big, fluffy, friendly birds. They will carry the lavender gene, but because it's recessive, you won't be able to see any effects from it.

How does your smaller hens handle the big braham roo? I just ordered 3 dark Brahams hens. Once I finish scaling up I'll have around 45 hens and 1 easter Eggers roo. I'd like to get 1 dark Brahams roo but I'm worried he would squash my little hens.

I was worried about this also. They seem to fair well. Other than I hatched some in the fall ended up with 3 extra roos (just butchered them because taking them to the stockyard sale wasnt and option right now ) So the girls were being over breed which caused a few to have bare backs and I had to put saddles on them to help. but over all No problems.
Some of the smaller ones run from him at times, if funny to watch.

Thanks! I might order one here then. With 45 hens, I think 2 roos should be fine. Probably some flock protection, a 13lb pissed off roo could probably scare some predators away.

Mine is a big baby. He never attempts to harm anyone. The roo before him was good to the girls but didn't like humans. You got close to the girls and he was after you. I have video of him chasing my kids on their 4-wheeler.

I only have 13 hens.

Well he does have a crow.. most of the time he doesn't crow much. But he was doing it alot lately I think it was because of the others starting to breed the hens. Here's a picture of him
