he is 2+' tall, but a real gentleman with the ladies (and us). although, he is outnumbered 30:1, so he may just be too tired to be a jerk.

predators are not really an issue here, the only risk, our own poorly trained dogs.

He's what's called a red chicken around here

He could be a mix of any of the red breeds, most likely some sort of hatchery Rhode Island Red or something similar (since he's got the black tail).
