i just hatched a chick from my own flock, daddy is a barred rock and mommy is one of my Easter Eggers, this little chick has feathered legs/feet. Neither parent do. So I’m a little confused. Is feathered feat/legs a recessive gene?

Ooh I’d love to pictures! And I’m thinking the feathered feet/legs came from the genes within your EE. :)

They aren’t great pics. Lol trying to get pics through the incubator window isn’t easy. Lol I should be able to get better picks when I pull her out.
