What state are you in?Thanks for that. Hens are not back laying yet, but as soon as they are I will be incubating some eggs. Am looking forward to seeing how the chickens will emerge. The last lot of eggs I hatched the chickens turned out to be 6 females and 13 males!! No wonder we try to make auto sexing breeds! Mine do not lay quite as well as the pure new hampshires but are not far behind. I think I have to cross back to the hampshire one more time before I can say I have "pure" barred new hampshires (hampbars)
