    Hi All,
I recently got some "barred" pekin eggs. I hatched it and got a trio(2 males and 1 female) of barred (or should I say cuckoo ?) pekins.
I am trying to get some information before the breeding season , so I will know if should mate them together or use black hen with the cuckoo male.
can someone tell if this male is consider as good quality barred ? where I can find what the standard says regarding barred pekins ?

    regards
    Itay

The look very nice! Good barring. The standards for the barred cochins are the same as any other color. If you want to use your barred female with a black male to get sex-linked babies you could, but unless you need to improve type I don't know another reason to do so.
