Barred Plymouth Rock

Hi everyone! Here we go again - plenty of new birds this year!!! And I think I might have my very first broody of the year...

What do you think about this little fellow? 2 week-old barred Plymouth Rock. Based on everything I read on this forum I would say pullet, but it's my first time raising Plymouth Rock... Never had such a curious and friendly chick before

Just realized that the pics are not very good... Sorry! Dealing with an extra inquisitive bird and trying to take pictures with the mobile phone at the same time was not ideal...

It's too young to tell the gender. If I had to guess, I'd say female because it looks like the barring is coming in dark, but that's really about as accurate right now as picking randomly.

As of right now it looks like a pullet because of the darker barred pattern. If it was more white than black then it could be a male
