We're starting the selecting process on the spring hatchlings. If you would like a start in breeding top quality, gorgeous Barred Rocks, we'd love to help you get started. Drop me a private message. We have birds from 5 weeks to 10 weeks to adults.

Does that mean that i would be taking bad birds? How do you look for a bad bird to cull at barred rocks?

Breeders often put as many as 100 chicks on the ground, yet will only keep 2 select cockerels and 2 or 3 select pullets from those hatchings. These are the birds that meet the select criteria which may assist in the on going progress of the strain.

No defective bird is ever intentionally kept or intentionally sold.
