Barred rock… pullet or roo?

we have 8 barred rock chicks about 2 weeks old here, and I’m desperately trying to figure out gender to plan accordingly. This is the first time we’ve had this breed of chickens.

Too early to tell

Males will come in more white due to double barring

Combs haven’t changed as much to be able to tell difference

Some say a larger white spot on head will be a male but that’s not always accurate either

Thanks. I’ve studied them every day trying to figure it out. I’m really hoping for more pullets than roo’s.

When I got our BRs I only got 2 and they were straight run. I had one of each. It was fairly easy to tell with the comparison. I’d say in the next 2 weeks it’ll become easier but by about 6-8 weeks you’ll really know
