Hello- here is a photo of a pullet "hopefully" that I bought a few weeks ago...no crowing at all so far, but kinda looks like a roo to me...anyway to identify if this one is a pullet or roo?

thanks!

Looks like a roo to me with those long tail feathers, but where the tail is drooping down, it's hard for me to tell! (rookie) I'm sure some experts will give their suggestions soon. Nice looking either way!

I'm also fairly new, but I vote rooster. The tail is too big and curved, and the comb is too big for that age. He's pretty though!

I'm agreeing with snowburton8....pullet. Roo's have more white/color. The tail is hard to judge because it's down., plus he should be crowing by now. Would like to know when you're 100% sure.

I just took this picture today of a friends Barred Rock Hens and Rooster. They are about 3 years old. The Rooster definitely has more white on him and white in his tail.

Thanks all

I guess we'll find out at somepoint- hopefully soon. I think she's 16-20 weeks old and not 14 like i was told.
