I am horrible at this. I thought on that photo of the chicken looking up at the camera I saw hackle feathers?
I agree that there isn't anything about the comb or wattles at this age with this breed that would make me think one gender or the other. But it is difficult to tell if those neck feathers are pointy or rounded.
I think your best bet would be to start making a go to pick up the chicken in the next few weeks and see if she starts to crouch. Then you will know that she is getting ready to lay.

Same her feathers are making me think otherwise. I was told she was a girl from a feed store BUT I know they can be wrong.
