Barred Rock 4 weeks old and they've flown the coop...well brooder :D

The girls ( well I have high hopes they're girls) turned 4 weeks old yesterday and on that birthday they've managed to start flying to the top edge of the box. I knew it was coming but it still surprises me how fast they grow.

With their dark barring and small combs, they look like pullets, but they are still very young. They do grow so fast!!

Great for you, Now you will have to contain them with some netting. I am not the best at recognizing chicks as to breed, but i would guess barred rocks, ??? How many do you have ? AND ALSO

The lighting is much better on the top photo. The second photo she is in shadow some. Her coloring is much more defined but still much more black than white. So sweet and friendly
