Barred Rock? All ladies?

I got 6 chicks from TractorSupply. They were all labeled as BR pullets. Several of them have feathers that look more penciled than barred on their necks.

Have I got any roos? ~8 weeks old right now.

I believe they are all pullets, but I don't believe they are barred rocks. The Tractor supply is known for messing up, as well as selling some funky mixed breeds.

The second one looks like a Barred Rock pullet. The rest I'm really not sure about, they don't look like Barred Rocks. The first one looks like it has a rose comb but the coloring isn't quite right for a Dominique.

They've all got single combs. They had the BR coloring as chicks, but as they've gotten older about half definitely don't look like BR. I wonder what other breed/cross they might be.

I'm sorry, I looked at that comb wrong. I'm really not sure, they look like a Sex Link, but none of them look like cockerels right now.

Interesting. I did some searching on less common sex links and found this. https://www.omlet.us/breeds/chickens/speckledy/ Looks fairly similar...

I have 6 barred rock girls and only the second one looks like a full BR to me.

I'll be happy if they're all pullets. The other details are pure curiosity on my part.

Can't imagine that the others are - I do see one pure(?) BR pullet. wonder if the others might be black sex link roosters
