barred rock bantam chicks, some with full feathers, some patchy.

HI, I have some barred rock bantam chicks and some are feathering out nicely all over and even and some have a lot on their wings but none on their backs, real blotchy. They are over a month old. What causes this?

Barred rocks feather in really slowly. Especially the nicer quality ones, but a lot of things can cause this.
