Barred Rock & Barred Rock Mix Thread

One of my favorite cross breed Barred Rocks are RIR X BR aka Black Sex Link and BR X BO. The colors of the roosters make me think of Oreos lol.

Yep. She is mix of Old English Bantams. Someone on here said it might me a mix of crele and black beings I have a part crele rooster and a black hen

Oh my goodness you have a rooster named Rusty? LOL No, I am not making fun of your rooster's name but the first rooster we ever kept was named Rusty, he was a Barred Rock, and he was MEAN! LOL

This guy is very sweet to me. I brought him in every day when he was a baby and he would just talk to me all the way in and back to the coop. He is very handsome.

. totally All my chickens are spoiled. I have one hen that likes to snuggle in my coat and suck on my hair. If I put her down, she cries.
