Glorybee
Chirping
So I've read every thread almost to figure out what this barred rock chick is. We are guessing male. It seemed blacker at first and over the weeks the down is more gray.
Last photo is day we got it and others are today.
We've had it two weeks. It was smaller than many of the other chicks we got that were up to three weeks old (not barred rocks). It had no tail feathers. Has black splashes on front of legs. Spread out white dot on head. It came from a feed store pullet bin. Was the sweetest and is now a pig and bully. It already has some wattles appearing that seen reddish, but the string near it one of the photos is much redder. Seems early to develop comb? Should we name it chicken dinner or Ethel? Still way to early to tell? I imagine you all groan everyevery someone asks gender. Thanks!
