Barred Rock

I got 2 barred rock chicks from Mt Healthy Hatchery on 4/23. They both had the little white dot on the head, although one had a dot just a little bit bigger than the other and is my favorite, sweetest, most curious bird. Over time I began to suspect it was a roo. Males have double barring so usually easy to tell sex when they get older. I am attaching pictures. The suspected one has slightly larger wattles, and tale a little different, but colors are the same in both. They are sometimes red when it's hot. They are now almost 13 weeks. No crowing but I think I see saddle feathers, although do not look pointy. What are your thoughts and why so I can learn.
