Barred rock chick.

Yes it did survive.
Attached is a chick pic from that day.
The lavender on left and a blue leghorn project chick on the right.
Also a color I'm working on since they weren't in the states.
Of course out of probably a dozen different colors/patterns from that hatch thats the two my two kids picked to play with.
The two most important and hardest to get.

This is the lavender as a young pullet last fall.
She made it through winter and I still have her she should be laying but hasn't started yet. IDK what's up but I have a few that are holding out this spring.
I still have her parents so hopefully I'll get a few more hatched this year.

I saw some pics of lavenders in the UK so I had to create some. I love lavender birds.
The blues I've seen some pics from Australia. We have blue andalusians here that are quite simular but I'm a leghorn fan so I just need blue leghorns. There's no leghorns here that have the blue gene so I had to cross in a andalusian so I still call them leghorn projects. Hate using anything but 100% leghorn blood but had no choice with those.
Sorry for the sidetrack of your post.

She’s beautiful! And no i love to learn new things like this!

I have 1 Black Copper Maran and 1 Lakenvelder out so far. I also have 4 other eggs that have either piped or have unzipped quite a ways. 2 more Black Copper Marans and 2 Bielefelders. Crossing my fingers they all hatch with no problem.

I emailed the hatchery and they and they are still saying both are Rhode Island reds... so I’m so confused

Cool.
I have a few due to hatch tonight or tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. I noticed 3 days ago that the turner had broke. No idea when it broke.
